Wake-up challenge
Coming soonApp coming soon to Android and iPhone.
An alarm you cannot just swipe away. To switch it off you solve a quick maths question, so you are properly awake.
How it works
- Set an alarm and pick easy, medium or hard.
- When it rings, solve the question on the screen.
- The alarm stops when you answer correctly.
What is free and what is planned
Free in the first release
A basic alarm, up to 3 alarms, and the maths challenge with easy, medium and hard levels.
Planned for Premium later
Unlimited alarms, custom difficulty, and a photo mission: switch the alarm off by taking a live photo of an object you chose. The photo is checked on your phone and is never uploaded.
Good to know
- Alarms must ring on time, even after a restart, so we are testing them carefully on many phones before release.
- On Android, the alarm needs your permission to ring on time and to show over the lock screen. It is designed to bring the challenge back if you press back or home.
- On iPhone with iOS 26 or newer, AlertMitra can use Apple's alarm feature (AlarmKit), which can ring even in silent mode and Focus, with your permission. On older iOS an app cannot ring in silent mode, and AlertMitra will tell you this clearly.
- If the alarm is stopped from the system button on iPhone, it is designed to ring again after a minute or two until you finish the challenge.
- Safety: you can turn on an emergency off, so the alarm can be switched off after 3 wrong answers or 60 seconds. You can also turn the challenge off, and the text can be large.
- For a flight or a medicine, set a backup alarm as well.
