Reminders that don't give up
PremiumApp coming soon to Android and iPhone.
A normal reminder pings once and goes quiet. A persistent alert keeps reminding you until you mark it done, so a bill, a medicine time or a deadline does not slip away.
How it works
- Turn on persistent alert for a reminder that must not be missed.
- If you do not respond, AlertMitra reminds you again.
- Tap Done, or snooze it, and the reminders stop.
What is free and what is Premium
Free
Reminders with repeats, snooze, pre-alerts and subtasks, and Quick Add. Fair-use limits apply.
Premium
Persistent alerts, which keep reminding you until you mark the reminder done.
Good to know
- Reminders are scheduled on your phone, so they are built to work without internet and to be scheduled again after a phone restart.
- On Android, AlertMitra asks for the exact-alarm permission at the right moment and explains why.
- On iPhone, Apple allows an app only a limited number of waiting reminders (64). AlertMitra plans them so the nearest and most important ones are kept.
- Some phones, for example from Xiaomi, Oppo and Vivo, limit apps that run in the background. If your phone does this, reminders can come late, so check the battery settings for AlertMitra.
- For something critical, such as a medicine or a flight, set a backup alarm as well.
